IPL believes in sustainability

A company which conceives and manufactures waste and recycling collection carts knows first-hand the practices, ideas, and innovations associated with sustainable development.

For ecological, economic and social reasons, IPL voluntarily defines and operates according to a responsible environmental policy. IPL is determined to be part of the solutions rather than the problems.

This policy is based on the three “R’s”, recognized at the fundamental model of any responsible behaviour : the reduction, reuse and recycling of products.

Reduce

The IPL environmental policy prescribes the reduction of the amount raw materiel required in manufacturing, without compromising product quality and durability. Every effort is made to optimize our product design. Moreover, our manufacturing processes are controlled in order to reduce and eliminate rejects and pollutants.

Reuse

The durability of our products allows for reuse in other ways than those originally intended. The reuse of our products makes it possible to extend their useful lifespan (initial life cycle). IPL endorses and encourages this practice.

Recycle

For several years, IPL has been systematically incorporating the ideal percentage of post-consumer products in our manufacturing processes (for a second life cycle) without compromising the quality and durability of our products. Our resin specifications and supply policies are a tangible example. At the end of their first useful life cycle, IPL products are also designed to be recycled in the manufacturing of new products, for a second life cycle.
